A loose mixture for the preparation of vegan burgers.
Ingredients: Protein 57,5% (pea 90,5% and rice 9,5%), dried sprouted mung bean chips, roasted onion (onion 90%, sunflower oil), thickener (E461), starch, yeast extract, olive oil, beetroot concentrate, iodine-enriched salt (table salt, potassium iodate), dried vegetables, spices, flavouring, psyllium, caramelised sugar, acidity regulator (sodium diacetate), antioxidant (ascorbic acid).
May contain traces of gluten, egg, milk, soya, nuts and sesame.
Preparation instructions: Place 250 g of Vegan Burger mix in a bowl, add 400 ml of cold to ice-cold water (10 °C) and 63 ml of vegetable oil. Mix by hand or in a food processor at low speed for about 1 minute. Form the mixture into patties about 1 cm high and then leave in the fridge for a few hours or overnight to allow the flavours to combine. It is not a requirement that the mixture is defrosted. Fry the burgers in a drop of oil for about 2 minutes on each side. A 250 g mixture will make 4-6 burgers.
