Dried tomatoes are very tasty and fragrant and are becoming an increasingly popular ingredient in Czech cuisine. Add them to salad, pasta or risotto, there are no limits to your imagination. You can even marinate them in GRIZLY extra virgin olive oil and season them with garlic, chilli, basil or thyme.

The area where San Marzano tomatoes originate is located in the very south of Italy, in the Salento region of Puglia, 1500 km as the crow flies south to the sun and the sea. It is an almost forgotten region, without industrial conurbations, with a long tradition of producing this delicacy. Tomatoes are grown and dried in natural conditions. It is a product of the highest quality, awarded several certificates.

Information. As these tomatoes are only sun preserved and salted with sea salt, they are very salty.
